The Caorle lagoon is a landscape suspended in time, where the casoni, the ancient fishermen’s houses, tell the most authentic story of the area. From Hotel Principe you can reach Via dei Casoni in about 30 minutes and from there set off on a pleasant walk on foot or by bike along the lagoon, surrounded by water, nature and silence. From Monday to Friday, in the morning, it is possible to visit some casoni for free.
If you prefer an even more immersive experience, our staff can book a paid boat excursion in the lagoon, lasting about 2 hours, available from Monday to Friday, departing from the lagoon area.

Caorle historic centre
Caorle’s historic centre is a small seaside town made up of colourful houses, narrow streets reminiscent of Venice, artisan shops and welcoming cafés, to be enjoyed at a relaxed pace.
Its symbol is the bell tower built in 1038, unique of its kind with its unmistakable cylindrical shape: a landmark that tells centuries of history and accompanies every stroll through the heart of the town.
From Hotel Principe you can reach it in just a few minutes. It’s the perfect place for a sunset walk, an ice cream after dinner or a moment of discovery between tradition and authentic atmosphere.
